COURSE OVERVIEW

CSBA (Computer Science, Statistics, Business Studies, and Accountancy) is a combination of subjects that are typically offered in the Commerce/Humanities stream of pre-university education in India.

Here is an overview of the courses offered in the CEBA stream:
Computer Science: These subjects cover topic such as programming languages, data structures, algorithms, computer networks, and database management systems. It prepares students for careers in software development, IT, and other technology-related fields.

Economics: These subject covers micro and macroeconomic principles and their applications in various areas of business and society. It helps students understand the economic factors that influence business decisions and the broader economy.

Statistics: This subject covers the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. In other words, it is a mathematical discipline to collect, summarize data.

Accountancy: This subject covers the principles and practices of accounting, including financial accounting, cost accounting, and management accounting. It helps students develop the skills needed to manage financial records, analyze financial statements, and make informed business decisions.

In addition to these subjects, students in the CEBA stream are required to take English as a compulsory language, and they may choose an optional subject from a range of humanities or social science disciplines.
